In the Kingdom of Treinville there is a custom that every ten years people must sacrifice an innocent girl to the Great Greedy Dragon.
She is called the “Bride of the Dragon”, dressed in a beautiful white dress, and then she is to be thrown into a volcano vent.
This time the Dragon Bride is the young Lady Eliana, eldest daughter of the Duke of Lumière. Her younger sister, the Moon, cunningly broke off Eliana’s engagement to Crown Prince Alvin and took her place.
